In case you missed my story on Friday…I decided to postpone my originals launch that was going to be available this past Saturday. Honestly, I was rushing to have it completed for the lunar eclipse this past Saturday but it didn’t feel energetically right to launch my FIRST originals collection quite yet. For starters, I just bought this beautiful decked edge handmade watercolor paper that I absolutely had to include in my collection.

Today is the full moon in Aries—the first sign of the zodiac. The sign of starts! Full moons are a time of releasing. Everything has built to this point and now it is time to release it. I am feeling this as I’m building this new collection of work. I am releasing control of the outcome and simply making good work. Starting even though I don’t know how it will end. Where can you let go of the outcome and just start something that has been brewing in your soul?

I have had this yearning in my soul for a while to offer original paintings. When I paint there is a dance between paper, paint and body. Time doesn’t exist in this space. It is a magical space. That magic is in each and every painting. It’s a magic I hold dear and it’s taken some growth to share the magic. I’m excited to offer these originals in October. The exact launch date is forthcoming!
